Hoping to rehome our 6yo Female Eclectus Parrot.

This decision has not been taken lightly and for that reason she will only go to someone who meets our criteria and is the right fit for her.

She has had the luxury of being around people and will suit either a retired person or someone who works from home. She does not enjoy being on her own and currently has the company of other birds.

Prefer someone experienced with Eclectus due to their dietary requirements and their hormonal behavior. Not suitable for a home with children or other pets such as cats or dogs. Requires sheltered outdoor space with continuous access to her cage and she needs to be indoors at night. She has a well-structured routine and a balanced diet of fruit, vegetables, legumes and nuts.

Looking for the best home for her but would prefer to rehome in the Gippsland area. Please only apply if you are prepared to allow us to view her new home and discuss with you your knowledge of Eclectus Parrot care and management.
